MANOR COLLEGE HONORS STUDENT-ATHLETES WITH ITS ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET AND CEREMONY

JENKINTOWN, PA—Manor College handed out its annual student-athlete awards.  Each sport (Baseball, Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Women's Flag Football, Men's and Women's Soccer, Women's Outdoor Track and Field, and Women's Volleyball) handed out awards for Most Valuable Player, Coaches, and Most Improved. Coaches of the Year were announced.  The Brian Barry Award was also handed out for each sport instead of one student-athlete. Athletic Department Awards were also announced.

Manor Director of Athletics and Head Men's Soccer Coach John Dempster served as the emcee.

Baseball (Presented by Head Coach Charles "P.J." Hackett)

Men's Basketball (Presented by Head Coach Leo Mahon)

Mahon also presented the following with their All-Eastern States Athletic Conference (ESAC) Men's Basketball certificates: Roach (First Team), senior forward Bryce Nwobu (Marlton, NJ/Cherokee) (First Team), Cooper (Second Team) and Diagne (Second Team).  Roach was also presented with the ESAC Player of the Year award.

Mahon also presented the following with their USCAA Division I Men's Basketball All-American certificates: Roach (Second Team) and Nwobu (Honorable Mention).

Men's Soccer (Presented by Dempster)

Dempster also presented the following with their All-ESAC Men's Soccer certificates: sophomore forward Moussa Cherif (Philadelphia, PA/Father Judge) (First Team), freshman forward Sekou Sylla (Philadelphia, PA) (First Team), sophomore midfielder Jallah Murvee (Philadelphia, PA/Upper Darby) (First Team),  Holman (First Team),  freshman defenseman Umut Akin (Philadelphia, PA) (Second Team), Ba (Second Team), and junior defenseman Lucas Dolchanczyk (Philadelphia, PA/Franklin Towne Charter) (Second Team).  Murvee was also presented with the ESAC Player of the Year Award.

Dempster recognized the following USCAA Division I Men's Soccer All-Americans: Cherif (First), Murvee (First Team), Sylla (First Team), and Holman(Honorable Mention).

Dempster also recognized his senior captains Holman, Larabi, and Tiblier for their four year contributions to the Blue Jay Men's Soccer program.  Dempster also announced the 2026 Men's Soccer captain, with Tiblier putting the "Captain" armband on for freshman midfielder-goalkeeper Emiliano Hernandez (Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico/Cobaej). Hernandez will be serving as a captain along with Dolchanczyk, who was previously presented with the "Captan" armband at the 2025 Awards Ceremony.

Women's Soccer (Presented by Head Coach Tom Gangi)

Gangi presented Brown with her All-ESAC Women's Soccer First Team certificate.

Men's Outdoor Track and Field (Presented by Head Coach Jeff McCann and Assistant Coach and Class of 2019 [Associate's] and 2021 [Bachelor's] graduate William Rodebaugh)

Women's Volleyball (Presented by Dempster)

The Eastern States Athletic Conference (ESAC) Championship Banners were unveiled for the 2025 Men's Soccer and 2025-2026 Men's Basketball teams.  These banners hang on the balcony inside the Mother of Perpetual Help Hall Gymnasium along with the following: 2024-2025 ESAC Men's Basketball Championship, 2023 ESAC Men's Soccer Championship, Mark Colville (Men's Soccer Most Career Points), 2022 USCAA Division I Small College National Championship Tournament (Men's Soccer), and 2021-2022 USCAA Division I Small College National Championship Tournament (Men's Basketball).

Roach presented Mahon with the 2025-2026 ESAC Coach of the Year award.  Gangi presented Dempster with his 2025 ESAC Coach of the Year Award.

Dempster presented student-athletes with their ESAC Fall 2025 Semester All-Academic Team certificates (3.25-plus Grade Point Average Average).

Dempster also presented the following with their USCAA Division I All-Academic Team certificates (3.50+ GPA): Brown (Women's Basketball), Cooper (Men's Basketball), Diagne (Men's Basketball), Holman (Men's Soccer), and Roach (Men's Basketball).  

The Brian Barry Award goes to the student-athlete that personifies good sportsmanship and is a team player.  Each sport handed out this award.  This award was presented by Dempster.  Listed below are this year's recipients:

 

The Athletic Department Appreciation Awards were announced by Dempster.  This year's recipients are Gangi, who is also Manor's Facilities Manager, and Manor Executive Director of Financial Aid Chris Hartman
