PITTSBURGH, PA—Manor College (4-30, 0-14) junior starting pitcher Charlie Levy (Jenkintown, PA/Jenkintown) was named United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Pitcher of the Week (April 28-May 4).
In his only appearance of the week, Levy broke his own Blue Jay school-single game USCAA record, striking out 15 Patrick Henry College Sentinels in the second game of a May 2 road doubleheader at Scott Jenkins Memorial Park in Hamilton, Virginia. In the 11-4 win, he surpassed his mark of striking out nine Sentinels in the second game of a home doubleheader on April 18, 2026 at the Cheltenham Little League-Woodland Complex. He struck out multiple batters in an inning in the first, second (the side), third, fourth (side), fifth, and seventh. Levy's 10 of his first 12 outs and 12 of his first 15 outs were by strikeout. Eight of the 12 Sentinels struck out at least once. He had 13 swinging strikeouts and two strikeouts that were looking. His last 11 strikeouts were swinging.
He tied his own school single-game USCAA record when he struck out his ninth batter, junior left fielder-catcher Jackson Bell swinging, catcher to first, for the second out in the bottom of the fourth. Levy struck out sophomore third baseman Chase Hope on a foul tip to end the inning, breaking the record, and also became the first Blue Jay pitcher to strike out in double-digits in a single-game.
In Levy's final three starts of the season, he was 2-1, 19.0 innings pitched, three complete games, 31:8 strikeout-walk ratio, 14.68 strikeouts/nine innings, and a 3.79 Earned-Run Average.
He finished the season eight games (all starts), 2-4 (shares team lead in wins), 34.0 innings, four complete games (second on the team), 40 strikeouts (leads team), and 40 strikeouts (leads team), and 10.59 strikeouts/nine innings (leads team).
Levy is the first Blue Jay to win an USCAA Baseball weekly honor since its 2024 debut.
He plays for third-year Head Coach Charles "P.J." Hackett.
