MANOR COLLEGE’S TYRAY COOPER, CHEIKH DIAGNE, AND MANNY ROACH NAMED TO THE USCAA DIVISION I MEN’S BASKETBALL NATIONAL ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM

PITTSBURGH, PA–Manor College (17-4 overall, 7-0 Eastern States Athletic Conference) senior guard Tyray Cooper (Baltimore, MD/Woodlawn), senior forward Cheikh Diagne (Philadelphia, PA/Northeast), and junior guard Manny Roach (Medford, NJ/Life Center Academy) were named to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Division I Men's Basketball National All-Academic Team.

According to the USCAA web site:"This award recognizes the student-athletes (sophomore or greater) who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or greater." 

Cooper, who is a General Management major, was one of five Blue Jays to appear in all 21 games.  He was also named the USCAA Division I Men's Basketball National All-Academic Team for the first time.  He led Manor in overall field goal percentage (54.9) and assists (98) and per game (4.7).  Cooper was second on the team in overall field goals made (129) and per game (6.1), overall field goal attempts per game (11.1),  total rebounds (144) and per game (6.9), and steals (41) and per game (2.0).  He was among team leaders in minutes (675) and per game (32.1), points (306) and per game (14.6), offensive rebounds (35) and per game (1.7).  Cooper led or shared the Manor lead in assists a team-best eight games.  He was also second on the team with 16 double-figure scoring games, six games leading or sharing the Manor team lead in rebounding.  Cooper was tied for second on the Blue Jays with four "double-doubles" (points and rebounds) and registered Manor's second "triple-double" (points, rebounds, and assists) since their 2021-2022 USCAA debut.

Diagne, who is a Computer and Systems major, was also one of three Blue Jays to start and play in all 21 games this season and named to the USCAA Division I Men's Basketball National All-Academic Team for the first time..  He was second on the team in minutes (686), three-point field goals made (39) and per game, and three-point field goal attempts (116) and per game.  Diagne was also among team leaders in minutes per game (32.7), overall field goals made (101) and per game (4.8), overall field goal attempts (233) and per game (11.1), points (273) and per game (13.0), defensive rebounds (108) and per game (5.1), total rebounds (138) and per game (6.6), assists (62) and per game (3.0), and steals (29) and per game (1.4).  He was also second on the team with five games leading or sharing the team lead in steals.  Diagne was among team leaders with 15 double-figure scoring games.

Roach, who is a Sport Management major, was also one of three Blue Jays to start and play in all 21 games this season.  He set the following Manor school single-season USCAA records: Minutes (737) and per game (35.5), overall field goals made (152), overall field goal attempts (352) and per game (17.4), three-point field goals made (76) and per game (3.6), three-point field goal attempts (210) and per game (21.0), points (463) and per game (22.0).  Roach also scored in double-figures in every game this season, which is also a Manor school single-season record and tied another with three 30-point games.  He led the team in the following categories: overall field goals made per game (7.2), three-point percentage (36.2), free throw percentage (79.8), steals (43) and per game (2.0), and blocked shots (25) and per game (1.2).  Roach tied for the team lead with eight 20-point games.  He was second on the teams in free throws made (83) and per game (4.0), free throw attempts (104) and per game (5.0), defensive rebounds (110) and per game (5.2), and assists (93) and per game (4.4).  Roach was among team leaders in total rebounds (121) and per game (5.8).  He also led with 11 games leading or sharing the team in scoring and six games leading or sharing the team lead in steals.  Roach was second on the team with seven game leading or sharing the team lead in assists. 

Roach was also voted 2025-2026 United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Division I Men's Basketball Second-Team All-American.  He was named USCAA Division I Men's Basketball Player a school single-season record three times (February 17, 2026-February 23, 2026, December 16, 2025-January 5, 2026, and December 9-December 15, 2025).  Roach was named 2025 Roadrunner Classic All-Tournament Team for the second time.  He was also previously named to the 2024-2025 USCAA Division I Men's Basketball National All-Academic Team.

Since Manor's 2021 debut, 19 student-athletes have been named to USCAA All-Academic Teams.
