MANOR COLLEGE’S MEN’S OUTDOOR TRACK SETS PERSONAL AND SEASON BEST TIMES ON  THE SECOND DAY OF THE USCAA MEN’S OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIP

INDIANA, PA—Manor College Women's Outdoor Track and Field finished its season on the second day of the USCAA Track and Field National Championships.

The Championships were hosted by the NCAA Division II Indiana University of Pennsylvania Crimson Hawks at Frank Cignetti Field at George P. Miller Stadium.

Sophomore Jallah Murvee (Philadelphia, PA/Upper Darby) competed in the first heat of the 100 meter Preliminaries and finished with a personal and season best time of 11.86, surpassing his time of 12.30 on the second day of the Bill Butler Invitational at NCAA Division II West Chester University on April 11.  Junior Phaizon Thompson (Philadelphia, PA/Benjamin Franklin) competed in the fifth heat of the 100 meter Preliminaries and finished second with a season best best time of 11.61, surpassing his time of 12.01 on the second day of the Bill Butler Invitational.

Murvee and Thompson also ran in the 200 Preliminaries.  Thompson ran in the first heat and finished with a time of 25.45.  Murvee ran in the fifth heat and finished with a personal and season best time of 24.87, surpassing his time of 25.49 at the Bill Butler Invitational.

There were 18 schools at the National Championships.

United States Sports University (USSU) won its first National Championship with 207.0 points.  Manor did not finish with any points.
