COLLEGEVILLE, PA—Manor College Women's Outdoor Track and Field set personal and season bests on the second day of the Ursinus Track and Field Festival at Patterson Field, hosted by the NCAA Division III Bears.
Junior Olivia Morton (Philadelphia, PA/St.Hubert), junior Alexandra Simmons (Cheltenham, PA/Cheltenham), senior Aidan Geiger (Glenside, PA/Abington), and juniorLauren Brown (Philadelphia, PA/St. Hubert) ran in the second heat of the 4 X100 meter relay and finished with a time of 1:11.66.
Geiger ran in the seventh heat of the 100 meters and finished with a season-best time of 17.37, surpassing her time of 17.84 on the second day of the Danny Curran Invitational on March 29 at NCAA Division III Widener University.
Brown ran in the fourth heat of the 800 meters and finished with a personal best time of 3:23.61, surpassing her time of 3:25.97 on the second day of the Ursinus Track and Field Festival on April 6, 2024.Geiger and Morton ran in the sixth heat of the 200 meters. Geiger finished with a personal best time of 38.01, surpassing her time of 38.04 on the second day of the Widener Invitational on April 22, 2023. Morton finished with a season-best time of 39.01, surpassing her time of 40.28 on the second day of the Danny Curran Invitational on March 29 at Widener Simmons made her 200-meter collegiate debut in the seventh heat and finished with a time of 43.48.
There were not any team scores at this Fesitval.
There were 29 schools and clubs/organizations competing in this Invitational, including NCAA (Divisions II and III) and NJCAA (Division III).
Next Meet: Manor is scheduled to finish the regular season on the second day of the Bill Butler Invitational, hosted by the NCAA Division II West Chester University Golden Rams, at John A. Farrell Stadium at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 12 in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
