WEST CHESTER, PA—Manor College Women's Outdoor Track and Field finished its regular season on the second day of the Bill Butler Invitational at John A. Farrell Stadium, hosted by the NCAA Division II West Chester University Golden Rams.
Senior Olivia Morton (Philadelphia, PA/St.Hubert) ran in the second heat of the 100 meter preliminaries and finished with a personal and season best time of 16.62, surpassing her time of 16.97 on the second day of Ursinus Springfest on April 4. Senior Alexandra Simmons (Cheltenham, PA/Cheltenham) ran in the fifth heat of the 100 meter preliminaries and finished with a time of 19.97.
Senior Lauren Brown (Philadelphia, PA/St. Hubert) ran in the fourth heat of the 400 meters and finished with a time of 1:22.54.
Morton ran in the sixth heat of the 200 meters and finished with a personal and season best time of 34.34, surpassing her time of 35.75 on the second day of the Ursinus College Track and Field Festival on April 6, 2024. Simmons ran in the seventh heat of the 200 and finished with a time of 45.04
There were 22 schools and clubs/organizations competing in this Invitational, including NCAA (II and III), NJCAA, and United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) member Pennsylvania State University-Schuylkill.
West Chester won the Invitational with 183.0 points. Penn State-Schuylkill was the highest USCAA finisher with 33.0 points in eighth place.
Next Meet: Manor is scheduled to finish the season on the second day of the USCAA Track and Field National Championship, hosted by the NCAA Division II Indiana University of Pennsylvania Crimson Hawks at Frank Cignetti Field at George P. Miller Stadium, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 25 in Indiana, Pennsylvania.
